VILLAGE THEATRE ANNOUNCES GENERAL AUDITIONS FOR THE 2018-2019 SEASON FOR AEA AND NON-UNION PERFORMERS
Village Theatre 2018-2019 Season General Auditions:
January 16, 17, & 19, 2018 | 10am-6pm

Village Theatre will be holding singer/actor auditions for their 2018-2019 Season, Beta Series, and The Village Originals Festival of New Musicals on January 16th, 17th and 19th from 10am-6pm at Village Theatre, in Issaquah. These auditions are for principal and ensemble actors and singers ages 17+.
Village Theatre’s 2018-2019 Season will be announced on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018 and additional EPA’s, ECC’s (dance calls) and youth auditions will be held on a per show basis throughout the year. Village Theatre would also like to encourage actors of all ethnic and cultural groups to attend auditions as well as equity and non-equity performers alike.
All auditions are by appointment only. Actors may request audition spots via email starting January 8th, 2018. Actors that are members of Actor’s Equity Association or the EMC program will be given priority and non-union actors will be assigned times starting on January 10th, 2018. Any requests received before January 8th, 2018 will not be processed.

Please allow 2-3 days to process this request.
If you attend the singer/actor call you must bring:
- A current resume and 8×10 headshot.
- A short monologue, no longer than 60 seconds.
- A song selection no longer than one chorus and one verse (approx. 32 bars) from the musical theatre canon in the style that best suits your strongest skills. You must bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided; taped accompaniment or singing a cappella will not be permitted.
- Please be prepared with a second musical selection as you may be asked to sing an alternate selection.
You must be at least 17 years old (as of August 1, 2018) to audition; those 16 and under may submit a headshot and resume to:

If you would like to be considered, but are unavailable for the scheduled audition dates, you may email video submissions starting January 15th, 2018 to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: 2018-2019 Video Submissions. Please include a current digital headshot & resume along with a link to your recorded audition. Please do NOT include an attachment of your recorded audition, a link to your submission is preferred.
Callbacks will be held on a per-show basis throughout the season. All Mainstage productions are at the Francis J. Gaudette Theatre in Issaquah for at least six weeks and then move to the Everett Performing Arts Center for an additional four weeks. Village Originals Beta Series productions are presented at First Stage Theatre in Issaquah. Issaquah is located 17 miles east of Seattle, Washington. The Everett Performing Arts Center is in downtown Everett, Washington.
