About the IOT Conference 

This year’s conference begins on Tuesday evening with the traditional Welcome Dinner and Roll Call at our beachfront hotel in Kill Devil Hills, NC. This gathering will include a beach deck taco bar and drinks to get our Company Exchange and updates rolling.

Wednesday will be dedicated to a series of skilled presentations covering everything from green technology and preservation (sponsored by USITT), to fundraising via lucrative partnerships, to a dynamic and progressive sound and lighting equipment reveal. Following the evening reception attendees will experience a pyrotechnics demonstration. Wednesday will also include two networking meals and a tour of The Lost Colony theatre complex.

The Art & Science of Marketing (sponsored by the Paul Green Foundation) will be the focus on Thursday with a tourism summit where we will hear from Visitor Bureau leaders and marketing experts on subjects and solutions ranging from industry changes and innovative partnerships to GPS targeting and effective advertising. This day will also include networking meals and a chance to explore downtown Manteo, NC.

We will of course present our anticipated Awards Ceremony during the multi-day conference and make time for additional activities focused on fun at the coast!
