Our Pre-Professional Summer Intensive program in Chicago is for advanced and early-career dancers, ages 18–24. Dancers attend daily technique classes, with additional opportunities to originate choreography, and study Pilates, yoga, improvisation, and partnering. Attendees learn repertory excerpts as well as complete works, culminating in a showing on the final day. Students will be placed by age and skill level through our national audition tour.
AUDITION REGISTRATION
Chicago Intensive
Dates: July 9-August 3, 2018
Location: Hubbard Street Dance Center, located in Chicago’s West Loop.
Schedule: Classes are held from 10am–6pm Monday through Friday. All students must attend all four weeks of the session.
Tuition: $2,500 for all classes

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago is excited to partner with the University of Southern California’s Glorya Kaufman School of Dance to house our third, Pre-Professional Summer Intensive for dancers ages 18–24. Dancers will attend daily ballet and supplementary Somatics classes, which will prepare them to spend the day with two selected choreographers. Dancers will work with choreographers to create original works, which will be shared in a showing at the conclusion of the two-week intensive.
Los Angeles Intensive
Dates: June 11-June 22, 2018
Location: University of Southern California Glorya Kaufman School of Dance in Los Angeles.
Curriculum: In this choreography-focused intensive, dancers will work with guest choreographers, including Hubbard Street choreographic fellows Alice Klock and Florian Lochner, to create original works.
Tuition: $1500 for all classes
