Hold on to your Hotdish because AATE’s 31st National Conference will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, August 1-5, 2018! From its nationally recognized names to small independent venues, Minneapolis ranks as the fifth-most “creatively vital” city in the country. Home to more than 45 presenting theatres and 150 professional theatre companies, a multitude of college/university theatre programs, Minnesota has a vibrant theatre community that also plays host the Minnesota Fringe – a theatre festival that will be happening during our conference with over 160 works and more than 7000 performances.  Join us in exploring what it means to Rise Up; to use art and activism to make positive change in our communities.
